Meet The Allens

Rodney and Care Allen are the husband and wife duo behind All-En Events (a play on their last name), brought together by a shared love for meaningful moments, beautiful spaces, and bringing people together. While their love story was sealed before God and over 200 witnesses in 2017, it wasn’t until 2022 that they brought their first love child into the world: The All-En Event Space!

At the heart of it all is the same feeling that inspired them from the beginning: joy, connection, and meaningful celebration. It's what they hope every guest experiences the moment they walk through the doors.

The Allens will be the first to admit — it’s hard work. Balancing life, love, and business isn’t always easy. Making rational (and sometimes tough) decisions together as both partners and co-owners comes with challenges… but they wouldn’t have it any other way.

After experiencing firsthand how difficult it was to find a reception venue that felt simple, flexible, and easy to truly make their own, they saw a need for something different in the Kentwood area.

They envisioned a spaced where families, friends, and everyone in between could celebrate in a way that felt personal, effortless, and uniquely theirs. A space that could be transformed into whatever the moment called for, whether through full event styling, curated décor and rentals, trusted creative partners, or simply the beauty of the space itself.

On October 1, 2022, they officially opened the doors to All-En Events by hosting a celebration of their own, their five-year anniversary surrounded by family and friends in a space created with love and intention.

Since then, their vision has continued to grow. In Summer 2026, the Allens expanded their impact through the acquisition of Morena's Event Venue, establishing All-En Events as Kentwood's premier open-vendor event venue where they continue to provide a versatile and welcoming space where weddings, corporate gatherings, milestone celebrations, and community events come to life.
